MNP ( Mobile Number Portability) Introduced in few months ago in Hyderabad, Andhara Pradesh.
How to do MNP?
1) Send SMS to 1900 as PORT
Ex: PORT 9885497749
Once the message reach to your service provider, immediatly you will get one UNIQUE code/number from your service provider and its validity is 15 days only. So, You must use MNP within this period, otherwise it will lapse and needs to send one more message. One more thing is the messaging cost you at Rs.1. Its depends on your mobile plan.
2) Consider the number, you must carry with Address proof, Photo Identity card and one Passport photo.
3) Go to your nearest service provider shoppy which you would like to network convertion.
